Krista O’Brien is a real estate developer with a strong foundation in finance and strategic planning. A former CPA, she holds a Master of Real Estate Development from Auburn University, building on an MBA and BSFCS from the University of Georgia. With three decades of experience, Krista brings sharp analytical skills and a disciplined approach to structuring and evaluating projects. Outside of work, she enjoys family life, travel, fitness, and creative pursuits, guided by a philosophy of intentional living.
Previously served as the Chief Real Estate Executive Officer (CERO) for VELOCITY RESORTS LLC, a multi-billion dollar master-planned development in Tennessee. Successfully raised one billion in capital and negotiated entitlements and incentive packages with the state and local government With international development and master planning expertise, I am also an Associate Broker at Parks/Compass, a top real estate firm in Nashville, TN. Currently, I am the Owner and CEO of Arpent Development, offering real estate development solutions for a variety of clients and projects. With over 25 years experience in the industry, I specialize in master-planned and mixed-use developments including high-end resorts, luxury waterfront communities, medical offices, and Land Planning. I hold a Master's degree from Auburn's Harbert College of Business in "MRED" program and have a GRI designation My diverse background allows me to deliver comprehensive and customized services tailored to the unique needs of my clients and investors.
